Solar Energy

firefoxSolar takes on an eco friendly and unlimited heat source namely from the sun - and it's free! The sun's radiation is absorbed by solar collectors and via a heat conducting liquid (usually a mixture of water and antifreeze glycol), and heat exhanger. It heats a storage tank of a size that is required depending on the needs of the house and supplies the domestic hot water and heating needs.

Only using solar heating is considered problematic due to the lack of sufficient solar radiation during winter so during these times conventional heating systems can be used up to 50% less and therefore contribute to the reduction of CO2 emmissions.

Did you know that on average, per square metre solar radiation availability in Australia is the highest in the world!
